Lara Croft Go Trophy Guide

General information about the trophies in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Acquiring the platinum trophy in Shadow of the Tomb Raider is not extremely difficult, but it is quite time-consuming. Achieving this goal should take you around 30 hours. It is worth taking a look at the list of trophies before starting the game, in order to acquaint yourself with those achievements which require you to make quite specific decisions along the way.

Aug 27, 2019  Hello all, I have written a guide for Lara Croft GO but unfortunately it lacks images. I am not in the mood to replay the game right now and i was wondering if any of you fellas want to contribute to the guide by adding some screenshots.

This will reduce the risk of having to replay large sections of the game. Shadow of the Tomb Raider has 4 achievements connected to various difficulty levels. We do not recommend that you attempt to acquire all four of these trophies during a single playthrough. It is best to complete the game on the lowest or normal difficulty level first, and after that proceed to the highest difficulty setting. During your second playthrough, you will not have to worry about numerous other trophies anymore, and you will be familiar with the countless unpleasant surprises that await Lara on her journey. It is possible to miss out on the trophies connected to combat and eliminating enemies.

This happens because your progress in the game is being automatically saved. After completing the campaign, no new enemies will appear in previously explored locations. We have indicated which trophies it is possible to miss out on in their relevant descriptions.

It is worth taking care of them in advance. If worse comes to worst, remember to complete these achievements during your second playthrough on the highest difficulty level, although they may prove to be much more demanding. The game automatically saves your progress in finding collectibles and completing the various conditions needed for specific achievements. You will not lose a collectible if Lara dies after discovering it.

You can also make the game easier for yourself when acquiring the trophies connected to combat - pause the game before killing the last enemy from a given group. After reloading from the last checkpoint, you will be back at the start of the skirmish but the game will remember the progress you made earlier, e.g. The number of foes killed in a specific manner.

The trophies connected to the Challenge Tombs and secrets are the most time-consuming. There are 'only' 9 such tombs in the game, but each of them is a vast dungeon and reaching some of them is a challenge on its own. When it comes to the collectibles, there are almost 400 of them for you to discover. CompletionistTrophy type: GoldRequirements: Reach 100% completion.Description: The most important information is that you cannot permanently miss out on this achievement, because you are free to return to all of the collectibles and other additional activities (also after completing the main campaign).

Completion is calculated from the following activities:. All types of collectibles. Monoliths, crypts and tombs. Side missions. ChallengesThis is a very time-consuming trophy. Crypts and tombs require you to solve additional riddles, and the collectibles scattered throughout the game amount to almost 400.

If necessary, take a look at the other chapters of this guide, in which optional activities have been described. In addition, you can facilitate discovering collectibles and hidden areas by means of the maps you find in-game and survival instincts. Trophy type: BronzeRequirements: You must retrieve Manko's Necklace.Description: This trophy is linked to the Retrieve the King's Horn and The Savior's Amulet side quests, which are granted to you by the residents of the Hidden City of Paititi.

These tasks are not available immediately - you have to advance far enough in the main story to unlock the Skull Cave location, where the rebels hide. The necklace is found in the final parts of The Savior's Amulet quest (in the sarcophagus shown in the picture above). You will get the trophy right after you bring Uchu the necklace.

Detailed descriptions of the transition of both tasks mentioned above can be found in the Side Quests section of this game guide. In the MomentType of trophy: bronzeHow to unlock: kill 10 enemies with Focus active.Attention - this is easy to miss, as it requires killing enemies in a particular fashion. After finishing the game, there are no new enemies!Notes: actually, the skill related to this trophy is not called focus, but the Scales of the Serpent.

The skill will be unlocked later in the game. The Scales of the Serpent allow you to craft a sort of a potion that increases the metabolism, making enemies appear to move slower while aiming. In order to get the trophy, consume it right after a fight.

You will need some materials, but you can easily find them in the game. Type of trophy: bronzeHow to unlock: get 25 silent kills.Attention - This is easy to miss, as it requires killing enemies in a particular fashion. After finishing the game, there are no new enemies!Notes: In order to kill an enemy quietly, Lara has to sneak behind them.

A skull will then appear above the enemy (see above), and you'll be one press of a button away from a silent takedown. Try to sneak as much as you can in general - you will get this quest long before the game ends.

Only attack enemies that are out of sight of their allies (marked in yellow in the Instinct Mode). Type of trophy: bronzeHow to unlock: kill 3 distracted enemies.Attention - This is easy to miss, as it requires killing enemies in a particular fashion. After finishing the game, there are no new enemies!Notes: quite a straightforward trophy - there are many ways to distract enemies.

The simplest way is to use different throwable objects. After an item lands near an enemy, they should go and check out the noise. Use the opportunity to kill them.Another good way of approaching it is killing enemies in an open space - the corpses also distract other enemies. Always keep in mind you should attack enemies separated from their group.

Get three such kills. Made to EndureType of trophy: bronzeHow to unlock: kill 10 enemies when your Endurance is active.Attention - This is easy to miss, as it requires killing enemies in a particular fashion. After finishing the game, there are no new enemies!Notes: the endurance is actually called the Heart of the Warrior.

The skill won't be available until later in the game. The Heart of the Warrior allows you to craft a sort of a potion that reduces damage taken from melee attacks and projectiles. In order to get the trophy, consume it right after a fight.

In this case, you can be aggressive and try to get as many kills as possible. You will need some crafting materials, but you can easily find them in the game. Type of trophy: bronzeHow to unlock: fully upgrade a weapon.Notes: the weapons in the Shadow of the Tomb Raider can be upgraded in camps - choose the second tab Inventory and choose any weapon you own. Each weapon has a few levels of upgrades, and each upgrade requires crafting materials.

The resources can be found in the world or acquired from merchants.Attention - if you've chosen a weapon that has four levels of upgrades (such as Vicar Mark II seen above) you will also need 2 levels of the Raposa's Wit skill, which grants access to the top tier of upgrades. Trophy type: BronzeRequirements: You must craft special ammunition 50 times.Description: Lara's weapons can use several types of special ammunition. Available types of ammunition can be viewed from the drop down weapons menu, and you can use the same menu to set them as active (i.e. As ready to unleash after pressing the alternative attack button). New types of ammunition can be unlocked by means of progressing in the game and buying new skills. From the beginning of the game you can use flaming arrows with your the bow. After selecting a special type of ammunition you need to hold a button to create it - by default it is R1/RB.

Lara will produce ammunition only if you have enough resources and only if you have not reached the ammunition limit. The limit is, e.g. In the case of flaming arrows, 4 arrows (you can increase it by buying quivers for your bow and pouches for your firearms). Materials for crafting can be easily found in the game's world, but you can also get them from traders. Remember to use special ammunition on an ongoing basis, which will allow you to produce more pieces of different variety for the fights that are still ahead of you. Type of trophy: bronzeHow to unlock: bur two enemies at the same time.Attention - this is easy to miss, as it requires killing enemies in a particular fashion. After finishing the game, there are no new enemies!Notes: the best way of getting about this one is in a location, where you can find bottles.

Enter the crafting tab and craft some Molotov's cocktails. Then, wait until two enemies are near each other and throw the cocktail at them. The enemies have to be killed with it, so choose those without any armor.

Trophy type: BronzeRequirements: You must learn of 5 interesting locations from civilians.Description: Lara can talk with some of the NPCs in the inhabited locations (the town in Cozumel, the village in Kuwaq Yaku, the Hidden City of Paititi, the Mission of San Juan). Potential interlocutors are marked with a special icon (shown in the picture above). Some conversations do not amount to anything, but some of the residents can give you valuable information, e.g. About the locations of crypts and tombs or about other NPCs who have side quests for you.

Talk to all of the characters you meet until you unlock the trophy. Trophy type: BronzeRequirements: You must survive the flood.Description: This achievement is related to progress in the main storyline and there is no way for you to miss it. The flood occurs at the end of the first chapter of the game, which takes place in Cozumel. Lara must then get out of the water after she has been carried away by a flood wave.

You will receive the trophy shortly after leaving the water and jumping onto a wall next to one of the buildings (in order to complete the chapter, you must also finish the climbing section, but that is not related to the trophy in question). Type of trophy: bronzeHow to unlock: track down 10 enemies using the Eye of the Eagle skill.Attention - This is easy to miss, as it requires killing enemies in a particular fashion. After finishing the game, there are no new enemies!Notes: The Eye of the Eagle is not a skill you can unlock. You will get it automatically soon after solving the bridge puzzle in the Peruvian Jungle. The Eye of the Eagle allows you to craft a sort of a potion that makes it easier to distinguish plants, animals and enemies.

In order to get the trophy, consume it right after a fight. You will need some crafting materials, but you can easily find them in the game. Type of trophy: bronzeHow to unlock: kill a total of 5 enemies, while they're looking for Lara.Attention - This is easy to miss, as it requires killing enemies in a particular fashion. After finishing the game, there are no new enemies!Notes: the difficulty of this trophy is determined by the overall level of difficulty you've chosen for the game.

You have to vanish out of the enemy's sight and then kill the same enemy. It's important to do it before they cease looking for you. Do that with five different enemies. Trophy type: BronzeRequirements: You must shoot a turkey with a Flare Round.Description: For the requirements of this trophy, you need to acquire the Serpent's Glint skill. It is a part of the green group and requires you to use 2 skill points. This skill unlocks the Flare Round for your pistol - it is a special kind of ammunition.Wait until your progress far enough in the story, and your characters reach the location of the Mission of San Juan. Examine the locations south of the church - these are the areas around the monolith and hunting grounds.

Lara should at some point come across a group of turkeys (example shown in the picture above). Prepare your pistol, aim at any turkey and shoot a Flare Round at it (press the alternative shot button - by default it is RB/R1). Trophy type: bronzeHow to unlock: You'll need to find 5 historical outfits.Commentary: Complete information on finding and restoring historical outfits can be found on a dedicated page of our guide - the detailed description of unlocking the To the Nines achievement. As a reminder, outfits can be found in crypts, bought from merchants or awarded for completing side missions. After acquiring an outfit, it is necessary to restore it in the camp by using crafting materials. Find and restore any 5 pieces of clothing to unlock the achievement.

Their list can be found on the Lara's Outfits page.

Technical director Antoine Routon presents on the game's development at the 2016Lara Croft Go was developed by, a studio that was founded to develop a game but was repurposed to create mobile games for the West.

All of the staff left besides technical director Antoine Routon and game director Daniel Lutz, and after a month of, Lutz convinced Routon to work on a turn-based Hitman game, which became Hitman Go, and released to what the developers considered a positive response. The quick, turn-based puzzle concept itself came from a focus on short sessions while keeping the series visual aesthetic, like an 'elegant board game', through many rounds of iteration. The team felt that their product distilled the franchise's elements into its simplest form.Upon seeing the Hitman franchise reduced to its core elements, the development team saw a Lara Croft Tomb Raider version as an obvious next step (or as they called it, a 'go-brainer'). The team consisted of ten people (on average ) who were able to work closely and nimbly, similar to an. They fit Lara Croft in the Hitman Go setting and knew to change elements like less focus on assassinating foes, less board game aesthetic, more animations, and more emphasis on environment than enemies.

The team chose the classic Tomb Raider visual design over that of the series reboot, but reconstructed that series aesthetic from memory rather than from its actual design documents. They sought to recreate the moments of being chased by a giant animal or boulder.

In place of time restraints, like the from the series, the developers added floors that crack with each successive turn to give a sense of time-based urgency. The team also emphasized gameplay for the player to learn without tutorial and storytelling that did not interrupt the play experience. Compared to the previous game, the developers wanted Lara Croft Go puzzles to have fewer elements and be completely visible without scrolling, such that the player could see puzzles in their entirety and focus instead on solving for the correct sequence. The camera also follows Croft rather than remaining stationary. The game was built in the, which enabled faster prototyping across multiple smartphone platforms. It was also designed first to fit on the iPhone's smaller screen—a lesson learned from Hitman Go, which had been designed for tablets.
