Jill of the Jungle is a Nintendo-style arcade adventure game with 256-color VGA graphics, great sound effects, and a Sound Blaster-compatible musical sound track. This immense game world, Volume I in the Jill series, challenges both your mind and your arcade reflexes - fun for the whole family!
The Chosen Child is again a product of hidden object genre, so you have to explore various magical scenes that can be moved for better quest. Besides, there are some puzzles for solving, like Simon-style game (where you should repeat the certain melody), maze-walking, and other original twists. By the way you are to pick up dream pieces in the scenes to add to your dream journal, and dream jewels which aren’t complete and need their missing parts. These things will help you to open the Nexus room – a challenging jack to add more fun!
The graphics is really splendid! Stunning visuals, nice backgrounds and smooth effects make an impression of hard design work. The soundtrack is cool as well, and we never switched it off.
In terms of length, the game is too short, and has an abrupt story ending, which was a bit frustrating for us. The hint-system can also dissatisfy you. You are absolutely alone in seek-and-find parts of the game, so if you stuck, nothing will help you.
Generally The Chosen Child is captivating and beautiful game with balanced portions of hidden-object play and mini-games.
