Untold Legends Dark Kingdom 2 Player

I recently bought this game hesitantly because I've been quite disappointed with the recent selections of RPGs for the XBOX 360 and PS3. Based on video trailers that I've seen, I expected 'button mashing' fun with a sort of RPG feel.

And despite all the so-so reviews of this game, I can say that the game delivers as expected. The camera can be annoying at times, especially when you're running around through cramped quarters, but like everyone has already mentioned, you can control the camera with the other analog stick.Anyway, I like it for what it is. It by no means is not going to replace more involved RPGs like the FF series. It is somewhat reminiscent of the Baulder's Gate series on the PS2 though.

Playthrough

I played this on champion level (there are four difficulty levels, champion is second hardest) and the bosses were ridiculous to kill. Plus they throw a dizzying amount of the same monsters at you.

The healer’s quest takes a dark turn when the infant prince vanishes under mysterious circumstances. The queen is accused of practicing dark magic and thrown into the prison tower. 16 hidden object scenes to explore and investigate! According to the kingdom’s law, sorcery is a crime punishable by death. Mar 28, 2009  Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom forum. It really killed the fun factor for me. I think if i had played the difficulty level beneath that it would have probably been more fun. From what I recall:- your former general beomes a boss and he is impossible to kill. Somehow the game had a bug and the guy killed himself!- the huge spider is tough- the two headed doggie beast is REALLY TOUGH, takes forever to kill- I forgot where I gave up at, but it was at another big boss I think.I gave up after a while, it was a rental. Maybe when it becomes a bargain bin game then I'll try to finish it some day. The game is more fun to play on the first two levels, after that it just becomes really annoying. The enemies take huge amounts of your health away with simple hits and it takes like 5 min.

(feels like it) to kill one enemy. And speaking of that two headed dog beast, I found that the worse looking character on the game. It was like the texture feature before you ad all the detail.
