@Calipier, thanks for the advice. I guess I will have to sell the trailers I have, then buy new ones to be delivered to the new depot where 2 drivers sit idle.@Be Ro, I have enough trucks/slash trailer combos. The problem started when I bought the new depot then sent the truck to maintenance w/o the trailer bc it had a load I switched out to avoid the $ penalty. I would agree, having multple trailers makes sense in order to 'catch' a special contract or to help one be on time. Thanks again for the reply. Btw, companies mostly do that in RL by dropping trailers at jobs for pre-load.
Thats what I meant by dropping trailers btw.They leave them there for pre-loading while leaving with the full loaded one, or gonig bt to another place nearby where they have an empty trailer waiting.In this game, this would not be practical.As for switching back and forth between trailers in depots based on the contracts available, you dont have to do that here. The game has so many contracts you'll never not have someone you're looking, unlike RL, which is why sometimes they do switch trailers.It'll happen in this game too, but at a much much lower rate. Cases of this are very rare.
